Pizza

Ingredients:
  • 1 loaf frozen bread dough
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1-28 oz. can chopped tomatoes
  • 32 oz. Prego Spaghetti Sauce
  • 1/2 t. garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 lb. mozzarella cheese
  • pizza toppings (i.e. pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, etc.)
Directions:
  1. Thaw bread dough according to package.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion together.
  3. Drain grease.
  4. Add tomatoes, sauce, salt, oregano, parsley, and red pepper to ground beef and onion.
  5. Heat to a slow boil.
  6. Simmer for 1/2 hour.
  7. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  8. Roll out dough onto a cookie sheet.
  9. Spread 1/2 of the sauce over the dough (freeze the other 1/2 - not needed).
  10. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  11. Add other pizza toppings.
  12. Bake 15 minutes.
