Pizza
Ingredients:
- 1 loaf frozen bread dough
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1-28 oz. can chopped tomatoes
- 32 oz. Prego Spaghetti Sauce
- 1/2 t. garlic salt
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1/2 lb. mozzarella cheese
- pizza toppings (i.e. pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, etc.)
Directions:
- Thaw bread dough according to package.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion together.
- Drain grease.
- Add tomatoes, sauce, salt, oregano, parsley, and red pepper to ground beef and onion.
- Heat to a slow boil.
- Simmer for 1/2 hour.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Roll out dough onto a cookie sheet.
- Spread 1/2 of the sauce over the dough (freeze the other 1/2 - not needed).
- Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Add other pizza toppings.
- Bake 15 minutes.
