Broccoli Bread
Ingredients:
- 1 loaf frozen bread dough
- 1 lb. frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 lb. ground italian sausage
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper
- 5 slices provolone cheese
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Directions:
- Thaw bread and let rise according to package.
- In a skillet, fry sausage, breaking it into small pieces.
- Drain grease and set aside.
- In a medium sauce pan, soft boil broccoli.
- Drain the water from the broccoli.
- Add oregano, garlic powder, red pepper, and sausage to broccoli.
- Roll dough into a "cookie sheet" sized rectangle.
- Place mixture down the middle of the dough.
- Top with sliced of provolone cheese.
- Fold dough over filling, pinching the ends of the loaf together.
- Bake on a non-stick cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
