Broccoli Bread

Ingredients:
  • 1 loaf frozen bread dough
  • 1 lb. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 lb. ground italian sausage
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 5 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
Directions:
  1. Thaw bread and let rise according to package.
  2. In a skillet, fry sausage, breaking it into small pieces.
  3. Drain grease and set aside.
  4. In a medium sauce pan, soft boil broccoli.
  5. Drain the water from the broccoli.
  6. Add oregano, garlic powder, red pepper, and sausage to broccoli.
  7. Roll dough into a "cookie sheet" sized rectangle.
  8. Place mixture down the middle of the dough.
  9. Top with sliced of provolone cheese.
  10. Fold dough over filling, pinching the ends of the loaf together.
  11. Bake on a non-stick cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
