- 1 small can Hunts Tomato Sauce
- 1/4 c. yellow onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 c. Mahatma's Extra Long Grain Enriched Rice
- 2 c. water
- salt & pepper to taste
- In a skillet, combine rice, onion, and oil.
- Cook on medium-high heat until rice is golden brown, stirring often.
- Add water and tomato sauce to rice.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
