Spanish Rice

Ingredients:
  • 1 small can Hunts Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 c. yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. Mahatma's Extra Long Grain Enriched Rice
  • 2 c. water
  • salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
  1. In a skillet, combine rice, onion, and oil.
  2. Cook on medium-high heat until rice is golden brown, stirring often.
  3. Add water and tomato sauce to rice.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low.
  7. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
